PROGRAMS

“Bright Eyes – Thien My” is a non-profit project with the mission of “sharing light – sowing faith.”

“Thien” represents kindness and compassion — the good deeds that come from a heart filled with love.

“My” stands for beauty — not only the beauty of the eyes, but also the beauty found in sharing and giving.

“Bright Eyes” symbolizes light, hope, and life — the priceless gift that God has bestowed upon each person.

When combined, “Bright Eyes – Thien My” is more than just a name; it is a humanitarian commitment — to bring both physical and spiritual light to those who long to see life again in its fullest meaning.

Free glasses

The program gives free glasses to students and people in difficult circumstances, especially those with nearsightedness or other refractive errors. We coordinate with the parish to examine eyes, measure vision and give appropriate glasses, helping them study better.

Community eye exams

Regular eye examinations for the community are held in the parish and surrounding areas. Volunteer doctors and nurses conduct vision tests, provide advice on eye diseases and provide on-site eye care guidance. The program aims to detect eye problems early and refer for timely treatment for those in need.

Myopia control

We conduct myopia counseling sessions for parents and students, sharing knowledge on how to prevent and control myopia progression. The content includes instructions on healthy eye habits, eye exercises, and the importance of regular eye examinations. Through this, the Foundation hopes to reduce the rate of myopia in schools and raise awareness of eye care in the community.
